| Downriver AYSO specialize in providing a nurturing environment of competitive and instructional |
|
| Recreational soccer program for all children ages 3 - 15. The AYSO program is based on these |
|
|
| philosophies: |

| AYSO programs are VOLUNTEER based that require parents and other volunteer participants |
|
|
| to function. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| AYSO provides free training to volunteer coaches and staff members that is affiliated with |
|
|
| USSF, (United States Soccer Federation), and FIFA with reinforcement and assistance by |
|
|
| Region 205 experienced coaches and staff members. |
|
|
|
|
|
| AYSO Region 205 offers Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Soccer Programs based on club |
|
|
| members(THE KIDS) desire to play and volunteers willingness to help run the programs. |
|
|
| The Spring soccer program runs 8 - 9 weeks with most games scheduled on the weekends. |
|
|
All outdoor games will be located at Memorial Field in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Schedule for games will be Saturday 9am-5pm and Sundays noon-5pm |
|
|
|
| Weekly practices are set up by each coach and located in the downriver area. Players will be |
|
|
| taught soccer skills of passing, dribbling, receiving, shooting, and the basic knowledge of |
|
|
| rules and tactical play of the game. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| ALL COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS WILL BE ADHERED TO. This included coaches,referees, players, |
|
|
| and all spectators. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| AYSO offers coed teams in these divisions for small-sided games. |

| AYSO is also charging $25 for all volunteers. This fee is for a level 2 background check for |
|
|
|
| all people working with children. This also involves all training, (Coaches, Referees, Board) |
|
|
|
| will be provided for no additional fee. Your AYSO Region is paying the fee for all volunteers. |
