Soccer Families, |

downriver

another
season, we look forward to providing you with a quality program. Adding to
the |
excitement
this year is the introduction of the USSF, (United States Soccer
Federation), |
Player
Development Initiatives, called PDI's. |
Our program is based on these principles: |

Our games
are played at our AYSO Memorial Field in Wyandotte, on Pennsylvania between
Fort |
and
Jefferson. Games will be scheduled on Saturdays between 9 - 5pm and Sundays between noon - 5pm in our 8 - 9 week season. |
Our Schooyard and |
Playground
programs will be played on Fridays at 6pm or Saturday mornings at 11:00. |
These two programs
are for these age groups; |
Playground:
under age of 4 |
Schoolyard; under the age of 5 |
Practices
are determined by the Coach, and our practice fields are mostly in Trenton.
We |
recommend at
least 2 visits per week, in any combination of games and practices. |
We are now allowing players to request a coach and players to play with. Please place this on the appropriate spot on the registration form, or email John Reeber at [email protected]

The
following steps should help guide you through the process. |
Step
One: Create a Login Account |
Much
like Amazon and other online purchasing programs, the first step would be for
a |
child's
parent/guardian to create a SportConnect Account by clicking the
"Register Now" button |
at the top
of the screen on the above link. This will create a Login Account for parents
to use again |
to register
their child/children year after year for all AYSO Soccer programs. |
*Please
note that for those that wish to add a Secondary User (for example, a second
parent) to |
the account
now would be an ideal time to do so. |
Tip: Remember which email you used
to create this account if you are like me and always forget |
your
passwords. |
Step
Two: Create a profile for each "Participant." |
This
is information needed for EACH soccer player you'd like to eventually
register. |
Tip: Only items marked with an
asterisk are mandatory. |
Most
likely, all of this information should only need to be entered one time for
each player. |
Step
Three: Select a "Program Available" for each Participant. |
Tip: All youth soccer programs in
the United States are now converted over to a "calendar birth |
year"
registration process. |
The Sportsconnect registration system automatically show what programs are
available |
for
each child, "participant",
based on their date of birth. |
Step
Four: Volunteer! |
You
may also at any time choose to volunteer for any of many available positions
in our Region |
(again)
by entering your information on SportsConnect to get the background check
done and |
automatically
notify our Regional Commissioner, John Reeber. The $25 dollar fee is paid by the Region. |
Step
Five: Payment |
Payment is now done online using a credit card. |
Step
Six: Check your email (including Spam Filters!) for confirmation letters and
receipts and |
information
on the next steps. |
Congratulation
-- your child should now be registered! |
